Units include (NVQ) Contribute to positive relationships, Help to keep children safe, Support childrens development, Use supoort to develop own practice, Prepare and maintain environment to meet the childrens needs & Support childrens play & learning. (Technical) Principles & values, Health & Safety, Supporting children & Supporting childrens play & learning


What Are The Entry Requirements?

Learners to working at or just below level 1 for literacy & numeracy (support can be given) basic expereince of chilcare through work experience or baby sitting would also be advantagous


How Will I Be Assessed?

Mixture of both on & off the job training. The Technical Certificate and Key Skills involve learners undertaking exam based modules


Is There Anything Else I Need To Know?

The programme consists of a framework. Learners will need to complete a Technical Certificate, NVQ, Paediatric First Aid, ERR, & Key Skills at level 1 in both Communication & Application of Number
